Amanda joined Monte Nido in 2020, initially serving as the Clinical Director at Monte Nido Portland Day Treatment (previously known as EDCP) in Oregon. Before serving in the Regional role, Amanda was tasked with implementing Monte Nido’s virtual day treatment programming at partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. Monte Nido’s virtual offerings continue to grow and expand nationally, allowing greater access to care, especially for those with accessibility concerns or who live in remote areas.
Amanda had the privilege of being born in Nairobi, Kenya, and grew up in Eastern and Southern African and the Middle East. She enjoys international travel, fostering puppies through the local humane society, and all things soccer, especially women’s soccer! Alongside her work as a therapist, she remains a stage actor and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity.
