AFTER TREATMENT SUPPORT

Recovery doesn't end when you leave our care

After treatment we aim to provide you with a community, resources, and tools to help you sustain long-term recovery.

That said, we also know that recovery isn’t always a linear process. If you feel like you need additional support, please know that you are always welcomed back.

Frequently asked alumni questions

Please know that participation in our post-treatment support options is not a substitute for counseling, therapy, medical, or other licensed care. Before completing your care at Monte Nido, our team will provide you with a comprehensive outpatient plan to help you transition to your treatment. If you feel like you’re struggling, please contact your current treating clinician, our admissions office by calling 888.228.1253, or your local emergency care resources (911 or emergency room).
My discharge plan is going great, but there’s one provider I was referred to who I’m not clicking with. Can Monte Nido provide an alternate referral?

We work with like-minded outpatient clinicians who use similar evidence-based methods. That being said, we know that sometimes the match may not be ideal. We want you to have all the tools you need to maintain your recovery. Please call our admissions team at 888.228.1253, and we will work to find you an alternative care solution.

I’m interested in the virtual support group but worried about sharing in a large group. How many people will there be?

This meeting is limited in size, and to allow others to participate in subsequent weeks, we ask that you sign up for 1-2 meetings at a time only. Please only sign up if you intend to attend. We ask that all that is shared in the meeting be respected and kept private within the group. Learn more about our virtual alumni support.

I attended a virtual support group, and they asked for an emergency contact. Why is that?

During the introduction time, the moderator will ask for your emergency contact and where you are attending the meeting for safety purposes. While we do not anticipate having to contact someone, we would like to be able to call for help if there were ever an emergency.
