Joanna received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Endicott College and her master’s degree in social work from Salem State University. She has been working in the field of eating disorders since 2011, starting as an adolescent IOP clinician at Walden Behavioral Care. Over the years, Joanna has held various clinical and leadership roles across multiple Walden sites and has also worked with adults at a Florida-based eating disorder program. However, her passion has always been with adolescent and young adult clients.
Joanna and her team of master’s level therapists provide clinical support throughout the admissions process for any Monte Nido program. They are available for clinical consultation, discussing and processing recommendations in detail, and helping to navigate the challenges that clients and their loved ones face when working towards admission for care.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys spending time with her husband and children
